Rakeback Programs and Who Really Benefits

November 29th, 2010 by Thomas Kearns

To understand who the real winner here is, we need to first understand what rakeback is and how the flow of money works. Rake back is essentially a flow of money from poker room to affiliate and back to the player. The player will in turn, hopefully, deposit that money back into the poker account and generate more business and more revenue. It’s a bit more complicated than that though.

Choosing a Wheel for Online Roulette

November 19th, 2010 by Sean Armstrong

Roulette is a game of chance which is commonly played in casinos across the globe. The Roulette wheel, however, did not begin its life as a game. It was invented by the famous French mathematician Blaise Pascal in 1655. He was attempting to build a perpetual motion device. While that idea failed, he saw that his device had potential beyond what it was originally intended. To this day, Pascal’s roulette wheel is much more widely known than any of his contributions to mathematics.

October 3rd, 2010 by Ross Everett

Heading into last Sunday, there was a consensus that the New York Giants were the best team in the NFL with an undefeated record, a productive offense and the league’s top ranked defense. Crosby’s Shootout Winner Gives Penguins Victory Over Blue Jackets

August 7th, 2010 by Ross Everett

The Columbus Blue Jackets learned a valuable lesson about NHL hockey on Friday night-it’s dangerous to ’sit on a lead’ and particularly against the defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins. Down 3-1, Pittsburgh tied the game late in the third period as Ruslan Fedotenko and Alex Goligoski each lit the lamp with less than three minutes remaining. After a scoreless overtime period, Sidney Crosby scored the only goal of the shootout to give the Penguins an improbable 4-3 victory. It was the 9th win in ten games for Pittsburgh, who are a perfect 6-0-0 on the road. Columbus lost for the fifth time in six games.
