Universal Pictures recently released a new sci-fi/thriller movie “Skyline” into theaters a couple months ago. I just checked it out. While it was exciting to watch, all the action and “edge of your seat scenes” lead up to no payoff in the end. It was very odd. It stars: Eric Balfour, Donald Faison, Scottie Thompson, and Brittany Daniel.

One of America’s most popular car manufacturers by far is Ford Motor Co. This company has produced best selling cars such as the Taurus, F-150 and the original pony car, the Mustang. It’s no surprise that the brand has made lots of appearances in some of the most popular movies.

We’re a wired culture with the ability to satisfy and curiosity, question, or whim at a moment’s notice. Many times multitasking has the inclusion of background music, taking time to social network, or watching your favorite movie while you work. You don’t have to go to the video store anymore to get what you want and even the expense of pay per view is a thing of the past. The internet has democratized what we can do with entertainment and the prices are lower than ever.

It has been almost 30 years since the original film Tron came out in 1982, but that has not stopped film makers from finally creating a sequel to the science fiction blockbuster: Tron Legacy. There were lots of unfounded rumors going around about a Tron sequel during the 90’s. With time it was found that the many rumors about a sequel were false. The 2008 San Francisco Comic-Con brought exciting news, however, as Disney announced that a sequel would indeed be produced.

We all love a good story about an underdog, who is wronged, and fights back in a way that makes the little guy sit up and cheer. Especially if the underdog is an out of his luck character whose only redeeming quality is his resourcefulness and his adherence to his principles, principles we all wish we had. “First Blood” is such a movie.

Terminator 2 – Judgment Day has stood the test of time as one of the most fun science fiction/action movies to come out. The movie takes a premise that is so simple, yet so complex, and blends it with some amazing cinematography. The acting is a little campy at some points, but it only serves to add to the charm of the movie.

Writer director Boaz Yakin has had an interesting career in Hollywood. He’s always been, primarily, a write for hire. He has had very few personal projects, mainly sticking to studio work like Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights. Most of his work is… Let’s be honest, mediocre and forgettable. It’s not his fault, it’s just that these are the dull projects they give him to work with. So what is one of his movies doing on a review labeled “must see movie downloads”?

How many times have you flipped through all the cable channels to find that there is nothing on you want to watch? Then you go through your video library and find that you have seen all the DVDs you own at least five times. You may think to yourself, “I know that some good movie was just released on video, now if I could just muster up the energy to go to the store.” Yet, you are still too tired. Have you thought about movie downloads.
