The Mormon base part of their doctrine on the fact that they feel that Christ became a man and therefore that Mormons should strive to be more Christlike and therefore becoming Gods. The candidate’s personal beliefs are important . He must believe in the importance of helping his fellow man. Must have a respect for what others think whether he agrees with them or not. Finally, he must have the desire to excel in his good qualities.
